How we are working during Covid-19

Following Government restrictions we have made changes to the way in which we will be working to conform with the new regulations and protect both our staff and clients from risk and, importantly, to avoid further spread of the virus within the community.


Showroom


Our showroom is now closed until further notice. All our design staff are working very effectively from home and remaining in touch with each other via regular video calls.
We are also very happy to offer video appointments for any potential, new or existing clients or specifiers if they wish and have a full set of electronic brochures available which can be sent via email. Our website is also a great source of information about the bulthaup ranges and the services we offer. Installations


In view of the restrictions on non-essential work our installers will now only be completing projects where there is a critical reason for doing so and if we are able to subject to Government restrictions. Our installation team will be contacting clients, specifiers and main contractors to evaluate all scheduled work, but we envisage that predominantly, installations will cease for the foreseeable future.
Again, this is in line with the Government's directive and for the safety of our teams and their families as well as our clients and theirs. It is also our responsibility as a business to play our part in doing all that we can to stop the spread of the Corona virus and thus mitigate the impact on the Country's medical services

Customer Service


Onsite customer service: In the same vain, these will now not be made unless there is a critically essential need for urgent attention to a problem, again if Government restrictions permit. All clients with scheduled visits will be contacted by our installations team to reschedule their visit for a date in the future, once the restrictions have been lifted or relaxed. We appreciate that this may be in several weeks' time.


On line or verbal: Our installation department and our fittings teams are also very happy to arrange for a video or telephone consultation if this would be helpful, to offer guidance in resolving an issue where possible without a visit. Please contact the team via:

Future Delivery of Projects


For those customers who have existing kitchen orders with us, I would like to reassure that our factory is still in operation in Germany and production is continuing. We have received assurance from our CEO Marc Eckert that this will continue as far as possible. pending any restrictions that may be made by the German Government in the future. Our teams will be in touch with all end consumers directly to discuss the progress of their projects through the system and keep them updated over the coming weeks and months.


Administration and Accounts


Our administration and accounts teams are working full business hours from their homes so are available as normal. We are determined to continue to offer our customers the service and support that they need as far as possible.


These are extraordinary times, so I do hope that you will appreciate the position that we are in if we are unable to offer quite the same level of customer service as normal, and thank you for your understanding and for bearing with us.
