The retention of the big old fireplace as well as the stripped oak wooden floor was paramount to the client and so we worked around these two elements to provide a bright and airy space in what is a beautiful period North London home.
The oak b2 pantry cabinet with built in coffee machine, warming drawer and freezer, serves the client well and is a feature element to the space.
The extractor is built into a bulkhead over the island which allows the view to the garden to be uninterrupted. The use of white quartz worktops bounces the light in what was previously quite a dark room.
